Here in Japan and around the world, plastic free and zero waste lifestyles are gaining in popularity as individuals look to reassess the impact of their consumption habits on the environment.

In 2018, Mona Neuhauss launched “No Plastic Japan”, giving individuals and businesses the option to switch from disposable to reusable stainless straws.

A long-standing friend and ally of the mymizu team, Mona will join mymizu’s Mariko on Thursday evening to reflect on their shared experiences, vision, how things have changed, all the cool cafes and businesses that have joined their respective platforms, and probably much more besides!
