Partnership with Hachidori Denryoku

Social Innovation Japan, the organisation behind mymizu, has launched a new partnership with Hachidori Denryoku, a provider of 100% renewable energy. This initiative will begin on Earth Day, April 22, 2026.

The collaboration connects two everyday actions - refilling water (reducing plastic waste) and switching electricity (reducing CO₂ emissions) - to expand accessible climate action for all.

Key initiatives include in-app promotion, cross-community engagement, and encouraging renewable energy adoption among mymizu refill partners. Additionally, Social Innovation Japan has been registered as a recipient under Hachidori Denryoku’s “1% for Social” program, enabling ongoing support through electricity usage.

mymizu will continue working towards a society where sustainable choices are accessible to everyone.
