mymizu Co-Founder Mariko speaks at Apple Marunouchi for Earth Day
What can technology do for us, and for our planet?
On April 23rd, mymizu Co-Founder & Co-CEO Mariko McTier spoke at Apple Marunouchi in Tokyo as part of “Today at Apple” for Earth Day.
She shared the story of mymizu: how a simple app has grown into a community-powered movement helping people choose refill over single-use plastic.
One of the key messages was that technology is not the goal. It is a means.
In a world already being reshaped by technology, the bigger question is not only what can we build, but why are we building it, and what kind of future do we want to create?
For mymizu, technology is a way to make everyday climate action easier, more visible, and more collective.
Thank you to Apple and everyone who joined us for this Earth Day session. And, of course, thank you to every single person helping build the mymizu movement toward a more sustainable future, together.
